MIMO Festival is a convergence of the underground electronic scene, set in the atmospheric surroundings of a historic castle estate. Over one unforgettable weekend, MIMO turns this unique location into a vibrant playground of sound, light, and creativity.
For MIMO Festival, my task was to create an artistic direction that captures the raw energy and avant-garde spirit of the underground scene while complementing the grandeur of the castle setting. The goal was to design a visual identity that connects the festival’s cutting-edge music with the timeless atmosphere of its location.
The artistic direction for MIMO Festival brings together the innovative vibe of underground electronic music with the elegance of a historic estate. Rooted in music from the 80's/90's this festival had to have a link to an old era of design : This is why all the illustration are airbrushed illustrations . From the festival's branding to stage design and visual installations, every element reflects the unique contrast that defines MIMO: a weekend where the past and future of music collide in a stunning, immersive experience.
